Arizona Historical Society
The following three museums are free on the 1st Saturday of each month:

Fort Lowell (885-3842) 2900 N. Craycroft Road, Tucson
The Downtown Museum (770-1473), 140 N. Stone Avenue, Tucson, is free the 1st Friday of each month.
Arizona State Museum at the University of Arizona. Discover the cultural history of the greater southwest. $3 suggested donation. Open everyday except holidays.
Bookmans Each Bookmans location offers a variety of activities every month. Call, or visit, the Bookmans nearest you for a schedule.
Storytimes Free preschool story times are offered by both Borders and Barnes & Noble. Call your nearest store for details.
Kitt Peak $2 per person suggested donation, tours cost $2 per person. Open 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. everyday.
Saguaro National Park East District 733-5153, West District 733-5158. $6.00/car entry to East District, free entry to West
District. Each visitor center offers Junior Ranger Discovery Packs. Children can complete activities in the packs while visiting the park.
San Xavier del Bac Mission 294-2624 Free everyday, donations accepted.
Sonoran Arthropod Studies Institute (SASI) Free, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., January through November, on the 4th Saturday of the month. SASI is located near Gates Pass and Kinney Rd.
Tohono Chul Park 742-6455 Free, 1st Tuesday of each month. 7366 N. Paseo del Norte.
Tucson Children's Museum 792-9985 Free admission the 3rd Sunday of every month except September and November.
Tucson Museum of Art 624-2333 Free admission the 1st Sunday of every month. 140 N. Main Ave., downtown Tucson.
